Rain
I put my dreams in an invisible box
I put my mind in the games of a twisted heart
I put my illusions in the eyes to see around in a different light
I put my faith in my palms when they search for answers in an amalgam
I put my desires in a morning smile
I put my forgiveness in a play set to make me see acceptance where I thought there’s none
I put my will in a plate and I take small bites with every day
I put my anger in a glass so that I can spill it until the last drop
I put my shadow in a time I never thought I’ll have
I put my anchor in the wind cause we are meant to fly, not sit
I put my passion in the dark so I can see it shine
I put my humour in a spark when life is out of lines
I put my hopes in a hazard I keep calling with my thoughts
I put it all in the rain so it goes away.
Lovely 🙂

What a poem of yearning for peace and wellbeing. The very meaningful line, ‘I put my hopes in a hazard I keep calling with my thoughts,’ expresses your turmoil. Wishing you that peace. ❤

My favorite thing here is that Cleansing of the Rain idea — especially how the photo at top plays into the closing line of the poem. After the rain comes, everything is clean, like new, more vibrant…..

I love the closing line. Reminds me of standing in the rain. The way it runs through the body’s energetic field it literally washes away all those kind of boxed thoughts. Thank you for your lucidity.

My home is in a raindrop in the light of my room, here comes the sun with a brilliant silent tune, and every time a tear falls I am here with hands folding with prayer. If its happiness I peer through the windows of stars to see someone there, and if its sadness then I fall on my knees very hard with a stare, So I know you know that I know it is rain drops from above, a galloping beautiful thing is one unspoken word that we call Love.
Your work inspires me to write, sorry, but thanks, Great work !! Your writing is a gift!!
