Maybe
Maybe I should let the rain fall and take it all with me
Maybe I should let the sun go and the little sparkles I see the world through
Maybe I should steal the dark and breathe the seconds as if I could own a kingdom of time and daylight
Maybe I should put the sea between our hopes and a garden where we could both loose our shadows and stop
Maybe I should gather the snow and float on a pile of white illusions and blue goals
Maybe I should wait and build a bridge that’s supposed to be a magnolia in spring, a sign for better winds
Maybe I should draw the freedom as if the world is a blank page, as if I could be somebody else
Maybe I should imagine birds, and mornings and silver lines immersed in expectations without clouds
Maybe I should stay and pray while sending a boat for my dream
Maybe I should find an old street and abandon my memories and separate all of them from me
Maybe I should grow a river in my interior symmetries to disrupt everything and let it be
Maybe I should paint the summer all over in me and wish to be the one to bring it outside like an eagle with a wave
Maybe I should dance on the edge of the night and give life the flavor of a midwinter end
Maybe I should drink from the time I have as if I’m in a race, in a quest to reach the peaks of a fearless flame.
this is tremendously beautiful and deep. it has a sparkle that can not be ignored

This actually strikes a familiar depression. Maybe I should do this or that or…. So many ‘maybe I should’ and never getting around to any. It’s like that island I live on, Someday I’ll.
