A dance

Sun rays collapse on a bunch of past days
Talks numb the thoughts that catch the clouds in their upsurge
Seconds leave the time all by itself, a void that leads to nowhere
Rain touches the warm skin trembling in despair and smothered lust
Remnants of the night pull the eye lids to stop them seeing the light
Rivers flow through the veins waking up the soul hidden underneath the veils
Blind steps lure imagination to a dark path, in a mute film where only the eyes speak
Moonlight gossips over foolish mistakes, naive choices and people living their memories
Versions of the self carry a war on which one to conquer the day
Heights kiss the soles and tickle the ego just before the leap in the unknown
Encounters rewrite the old plays, leave the questions floating till the end of the fairy tale
Silence covers the long hours, the voice that keeps seeking for its song
Waiting unplaits the moments that have yet to be, capturing them in a hasty dream
Storms show how to step above the running times and waters, holding the future by its thread
And the birds teach the flight and the fall, the hope with no end
It’s all a dance that leaves abandonment no chance.
