Scratched surfaces
Nitrogen oxide, blocks, impatience and lines, people rushing, having sharp elbows and career paths
Only their breaths stopping from time to time
Their thoughts running high above
Looking for some emotions that end up feeling like dust in busy summer times
Motorcycles speeding slower than us growing up,
Superficial bruises as solid proof for life
Memories mistaken for candies in a jar
Self-consciousness permanently in a winter mode, covered in glitter and eggnog,
Carrying more strings than a marionette
More clouds and non-manifested stories than rainy days at Tropics
Shallow promises and a bunch of lies to postpone all till a proper time
But walls of social desires and rewards
Will always stand between our rivers and our doors
It’s easier to build empires in our heads
And then have drinks with so called friends
Forgetting we are homesick for our souls
And all we never do is gone, but time is dancing on a rock guitar
Then the motorcycles are way ahead, and the bruises – possibilities for movie stars
We have the silhouettes and semi-blinded eyes
Living as a paranoiac that feels constantly hypnotized

  1. Sometimes, we get too caught up by the world that we’re living in, that we lose sight of who we are in the core, and it’s going to take a long time, for us, to find that back again…

  2. Well-done I especially like some of the middle lines:

“Superficial bruises as solid proof for life
Memories mistaken for candies in a jar
Self-consciousness permanently in a winter mode, covered in glitter and eggnog,
Carrying more strings than a marionette”

    Brilliant…
    Keep writing.
